Pastor Chris HUntoon
Chris has served in ministry since 2010 and has been the Lead Pastor at LifePoint since 2020. He is passionate about family, leading people into authentic relationship with God, and raising up leaders. He is a jack-of-all-trades and finds deep satisfaction in a well-manicured lawn and making people groan over cheesy jokes. He and his wife Sarah have been married for more than 25 years.
SArah huntoon
Sarah has served the Church in lay leader roles since graduating from high school. She has a passion for worship and helping others grow personally and spiritually. She loves exploring new places, intimate gatherings and catching up over coffee or tea. Sarah is married to Chris, and together they have two grown children.
Pastor Gerson
Gerson is someone who loves to serve and has a passion for youth. He always loves meeting new people and creating friendships! He welcomes you to come say hi!
Pastor Jess has been serving in ministry since 2013, with experience spanning from Colorado to Oregon. An Oregon native, she spent time in the Army, embracing adventure and growth before returning home in 2015. Her heart for ministry is rooted in cultivating authentic discipleship—creating space for people to develop a real, rebellious, wild, and lifelong relationship with Jesus. Jess is especially passionate about connecting with those who are searching for a new way of living and a deeper sense of purpose.
Jess is married to her husband, Christopher. Together, they have four daughters, two sons-in-law, and one granddaughter, forming a lively and close-knit family. Outside of ministry, Jess enjoys staying active through running, weightlifting, and hiking, and she loves riding on the back of Rambo’s motorcycle whenever she gets the chance.
Pastor Jess Woodsum
Tara tendick
Tara has been married to her husband Josh since 2003. Together they have three boys. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking walks, and movie nights. Over the years, Tara has served in the children’s ministry in multiple ways as a volunteer and as a leader. Her passion is to connect with kids and meet them where they are at. She wants them to learn about Jesus in a fun and exciting way that the kids can relate to! It is important to her to come alongside parents and families, to not only teach kids about Jesus, but to teach them who He has created them to be.
Emma & James Morris
James and Emma are young leaders who are beginning their journey into ministry. They have served in different churches for many years, with a heart to follow God’s every call. They seek to foster an environment of inclusion, love, and reflection of what a truly transformed life with Jesus looks like. James and Emma love to go camping in all conditions, and catch as many beautiful sunrises as possible at Spencer Butte. But above all, they love to love people. God’s focus has led them to their generation. They desire to walk alongside fellow young adults, living life transparently, together in fellowship, and strengthening in faith. Not being afraid of the dirt, struggle, or shame, they invite others to join them in the race of Grace.
